She is a pekingese. My last dog died from lymphoma and it has been five years that we have lived without a dog. At first we were like, what are we doing?...are you sure?....I love her already and it hasn't even been 24 hours. They can bring sunshine and joy to your life that is for sure.
I forgot what I was missing when I brought her home. I'm so happy!
Karen, maybe one day you will be able to make it to a gathering. I wish someone south would have a meet and greet. If my condo had a clubhouse I would have one.

What a cute puppy! She looks full of energy! We used to have cats but the last one was really a trial and now we travel too much to have a pet. I'd like to have another cat but the last one did so much damage, that even though the smells are gone for us, another cat would probably end up doing the same thing. Bummer!
It's a pretty day today no matter what the temperature. I have a few errands to run this morning and then I'll be just hanging out.

Well I'm home from Chicago ,all went wonderful ... I met with psycho , nutrition lady , and the " in house " doctor ... They all signed off on my paper work they said they will send it to insure for approval on Monday.....I think it will take about 4 to 6 weeks to hear something.... n e way my house is turned up side down so I got-to clean it ......later everyone....
Well, I am snug inside for now. Brr I am cold. I went to church and grocery shopping and got really cold while hauling in groceries and have not warmed up yet. Don't know why but that wind got to me. Groceries are put away and now I am chowing down on lunch. Turkey roll ups and pico de gallo. Yum.
Not much planned for the rest of the day. I am looking forward to the meet and greet. Karen, I am sorry you are not going to be there.

Connie, have you ever thought of fostering a cat. I am a foster mom for our local animal shelter and you can either do short term cats or long term cats. It gives them a temporary home rather than a crowded shelter.
